CO2Wall was awarded 2nd Runner-Up in the Dubai Holding Innovate For Tomorrow Challenge 2026, following an intensive international innovation programme focused on solutions capable of creating a more sustainable, resilient and future-ready urban environment.
The challenge brought together innovators from different sectors and countries, each presenting scalable solutions for the environmental and social challenges facing modern cities. Projects were evaluated not only on originality, but also on their technical feasibility, measurable impact, commercial potential and ability to be implemented across Dubai Holding’s extensive real-estate portfolio.
While CO2Wall placed 2nd Runner-Up overall, it was the highest-ranked construction, PropTech and building-solution innovation in the challenge.
This distinction is especially meaningful to us. It confirms that CO2Wall is recognised not simply as a living-wall product, but as an integrated building and urban-infrastructure solution combining circular materials, intelligent irrigation, real-time monitoring and climate-resilient engineering.
